Koop Kapatid Program MOA Signing
PMPC is one with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) in its advocacy of continuously developing and strengthening the cooperative sector especially micro and small cooperatives through the Koop Kapatid Program (Big Brother helping Small Brother).
Today marks the newest milestone of PMPC as its BOD Chairperson, Mr. Efren M. Bravo, CPA, officially seals the partnership with CDA, headed by the Region XI Director, Mr. Ruben L. Cunanan, DDM, MPA, and four (4) small cooperatives in Panabo City, namely: Mabunao Women Multipurpose Cooperative, Kauswagan Agri-Development Multipurpose Cooperative, Cacao Multipurpose Cooperative, and Panabo Transport Service Cooperative.
PMPC shall work hand-in-hand with CDA, and Model Cooperative Network (MCN) in providing assistance, primarily in technical and capability-building activities, to the partner cooperatives to ensure its growth and sustainable operations.

Panabo Multipurpose Cooperative, headed by its BOD Chairperson, Ms. Nelia A. Mondońedo, was very much grateful for the quick, yet fruitful, visit of Dir. Ruben Cunanan, DDM, MPA, the newly-assigned Regional Director of Cooperative Development Authority XI, together with his team.
PMPC donates protective kits to PESO Panabo
As Panabo Multipurpose Cooperative continues to respond to the need of the community, PMPC officially signed the Memorandum of Undertaking as a partner of LGU-Panabo City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in its Community Skills Training – Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Program.
PMPC’s Great Women Entrepreneurs
Women empowerment has always been part of the efforts of PMPC in strengthening its Gender and Development Program (GAD). With this, PMPC was prompted to engage with National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO) and Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) in its Gender-Responsive Economic Actions for Transformation of Women Project 2 or GREAT Women Project 2 (GWP2), a project funded by the Government of Canada.
Adapt a Classroom and Handwashing Facility Project
Two noteworthy projects were provided by PMPC for its continuous advocacy of providing quality education and conducive learning environment for Filipino children and students, in partnership with the Department of Education – Division of Panabo City.
The first project was the Annual Adopt-A-Clasroom Program at Balay Paglaum, Lower Panaga, Panabo City where PMPC provided materials such as television unit, chairs, tables and electric fans. Students were also provided with school supplies as part of the “Balik Eskwela, Gamit sa Eskwela Program”.

A Story of Nanlimbasog Entrepreneur
Ms. Jane Synchangco, a regular member for 8 Years of Panabo Multipurpose Cooperative, was hailed 2nd Place in the recent 2017 Mass-Specc’s Search For Mindanaw Cooperative Micro-Entrepreneur Award (MICMA) – Nanlimbasog Category, held at Garden Orchid Hotel , Zamboanga City on May 26, 2018.
The search aims to showcase entrepreneurial endeavors and members stories of best practices and how the cooperatives support their journey to take root, grow and flourish their enterprise.
Sixth Adopt a Classroom Program
As class resumes on June 13, 2016 for the School Year 2016-2017, PMPC initiated programs relative to Brigada Eskwela advocacy for the benefit of its partner schools to provide a conducive environment for the students. The “Adopt-a-Classroom Program” is an annual school-based partnership where the cooperative allocate funds for a classroom renovation and improvements. This year, Valentin M. Daquio Elementary School of Barangay Manay, Panabo City was selected as the 6th recipient of the program since implementation.
Brigada Eskwela Intervention 2016
The National Maintenance Week or “Brigada Eskwela” is a program initiated by the Department of Education (DepEd) that aims to restore the value of modern “bayanihan” and bring together teachers, parents and the community to do clean up and repair in public schools to prepare the facilities for the school opening. As part of Cooperative Social Responsibility and as annual participation, PMPC together with its youth members and scholars extended its efforts to take part in the school beautification and restoration, allocating fund for donations of materials needed for the said undertakings.
AFLATOUN School Tour
The famous Fireball mascot which represents the Aflatoun program made the school active and fun as the mascot joined students in their morning exercise during their flag ceremony.
